The terms Flowers Delivered UK Ltd make products available to you affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you are not in agreement with these Terms and Conditions please do not register for or use the Flowers Delivered UK web site.
Prices
All prices are clearly set out on the web site. In the unlikely event an item or items have been inadvertently under-priced we will not be liable to supply any such item or items to you at the price stated provided that we notify you and you agree before we despatch any of the items concerned. Making a Purchase
This web site has been designed to make ordering as easy and quick as possible. Simply select the item of choice, choose a delivery date, add one or more of the optional extras to enhance your gift and click the 'Buy Now' button. Proceed to 'Checkout', complete the relevant details and we will do the rest! Your beautifully presented gift will be sent to any postal address in Mainland Britain by courier. We do not deliver to offshore islands, Europe (including the Republic of Ireland), and Northern Ireland. All orders are trackable every step of the way - from the second your order is placed to the second the recipient has signed for it. Our sophisticated ordering system is able to accept orders weeks in advance of your preferred delivery date. To avoid human error we only accept orders placed online unless otherwise agreed.
Flowers
All flowers are imported daily from the Dutch Flower Auctions and other countries around the world to ensure the freshest possible blooms. We do not contract out to third party florists or florist shops thus achieving total quality control and consistency. Our bouquets and arrangements are beautifully created and gift presented by our own team of professional floral artists. As we only use the best quality flowers available on the day, the varieties used, especially in the seasonal bouquets and baskets, may vary due to supply and seasonal availability - this means that whilst we try to adhere to the images shown on our web site, the contents of the seasonal bouquets and baskets may differ from the published photographs. This policy is designed to give you, our customer, the best possible value for money. We are not bound to reproduce any item exactly as published on our web site as the featured images are for guidance purposes only. For the benefit of photography, the floral illustrations shown have been photographed in full bloom - we aim, where possible, to supply flowers in tight bud so they remain at their best for the longest time possible.
Chocolates
We only stock the finest quality chocolates which are stored in optimal temperature controlled conditions and are presented beautifully gift wrapped. Chocolates are only available as either a free gift or an additional option to enhance your main gift. May contain nuts or traces of nuts.
Availability and Substitution
If we are unable to supply we will notify you as soon as possible. In the event of substitute items being required of equal or greater value due to supply difficulties we will attempt to notify and seek agreement before processing your order. This also applies to any free gift that may be offered from time to time. Should we be unable to make contact with you regarding a substitution issue, Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. will carefully assess the position and attempt to make a balanced and fair judgement in the best interests of the customer taking into account the given circumstances. Flowers Delivered UK Ltd will reimburse you for the cost of returning non-perishable (e.g. cuddly toys) substitute goods that you do not wish to accept.
Gift Enhancements
All items available as free gifts or optional extras to enhance your main gift are not available to purchase in their own right.
Cancellation
Orders for flowers can only be cancelled or amended 48 hours before delivery. Under the Distance Selling Regulations a customer has the legal right to cancel an order for non-perishable items (e.g. cuddly toys) within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. The customer or recipient of the gift is invited to return such an item to us promptly at the address shown on our ‘Contact Us’ page at the customer’s or recipient’s cost for exchange or refund providing the item is in a resalable condition. Refunds will be processed within 30 days.
Delivery
Deliveries are made only to Mainland Britain. There is no additional charge or charges for deliveries made during the working week and, as such, are deemed to be 'free'. Saturday deliveries are subject to an additional charge of £9.95. We do not deliver to offshore islands, Europe (including the Republic of Ireland) and Northern Ireland. Orders can be delivered 6 days a week - Monday to Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays or UK Bank Holidays. Orders cannot be delivered on the same day as ordering. Experience shows 97% of orders arrive the next day between 9am and 5pm on weekdays and between 9am and 1pm on Saturdays. The earliest time for delivery in Scotland is usually 10.30am. The following Post Code areas are not available for next day delivery: KW1-3, KW5-14, IV3, IV21-28, HS1-8 and Pb1-44. Goods sent to these areas will operate on a two day delivery service. Every effort is made to deliver on customers preferred date but this cannot be guaranteed. Failure to deliver on a customer's preferred delivery date does not constitute a breach of our agreement and does not entitle the customer to a cancellation or refund. We do not offer a timed delivery service. Orders must be received by 2pm (UK time) for next day delivery. Orders received after 2pm (UK time) will be processed and despatched the next working day. Orders received during a weekend will be processed and despatched on the Monday immediately following the weekend for delivery the next day, Tuesday, being the earliest delivery date. When Monday is a UK Bank Holiday orders will be processed and despatched on the Tuesday immediately following the Bank Holiday Monday for delivery the next day, Wednesday, being the earliest delivery date. Where a preferred delivery date is a Monday, orders must be received by 2pm (UK time) on the preceding Friday - if Friday is a UK Bank Holiday orders must be received on the preceding Thursday. All items featured in the Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. Sympathy section (i.e. Funeral Flowers) require an extra day for delivery and must be scheduled for delivery to the customer specified delivery address the day BEFORE the funeral. It is the responsibility of the customer to agree to these Terms and Conditions (as clearly advised on the Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. web site) before the point of purchase. Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. is not obliged to contact the customer at any time to explain these Terms and Conditions on accepting any order prior to despatch. In the event of an incorrect or incomplete address being provided to us we reserve the right to charge a redirection of delivery fee. Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. will not be held responsible for goods that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer and, as such, are not obliged to offer any form of compensation or refund. Gifts sent to hospitals, military bases, business premises etc. will be left at the main reception area for onward internal distribution. In this event, however, neither Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. nor any courier acting on our behalf, can be held responsible or accept any claim for any loss or damage caused. As some hospitals do not accept fresh flower deliveries it is the responsibility of the sender to verify a nominated hospital does not operate a 'no fresh flowers policy'. Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. cannot accept responsibility for any refused deliveries to hospitals. In the event of the recipient being unavailable (e.g. not at home) at the time of delivery, the courier will attempt to leave the gift in a safe place at the consigned address or with a neighbour - in this case a card will be left at the consigned address stating where the delivery has been left. However, neither Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. or any courier acting on our behalf, can be held responsible or accept any claim for any loss or damage caused as a result of leaving a gift as stated above. If leaving the gift at an alternative address is not possible or considered inappropriate for any reason, the courier will leave a card at the consigned address stating the circumstances. It will then be the responsibility of the recipient to contact the courier with a view to arranging collection from the stated courier depot or rearrange delivery. When collecting from a courier depot an accepted form of identification is required e.g. driving licence, passport etc. During peak periods such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mothering Sunday, Flowers Delivered UK Ltd. reserve the right to deliver before the customer's preferred delivery date. The following Post Code areas are not available for next day delivery: KW1-3, KW5-14, HS1-8, PB1-44 and all IV Post Codes. Goods sent to these areas will operate on a two day delivery service.
Delivery of Postal Items
All items sent by Post may require 2/5 working days for delivery.
Our Postal Service Range is not designed for guaranteed delivery dates. Should a more certain delivery date be preferred please choose from the Flowers Delivered UK extensive range of items that are hand delivered next working day by courier. All postal items are sent at the customers risk. Orders cannot be traced once posted. Refunds are not available on postal items for late delivery or non delivery. Refunds are also not available on postal items for late delivery or non delivery as a result of Royal Mail Post Office industrial actions.
There are no guaranteed Saturday deliveries for any of the items sent by Post.
Should a Saturday delivery be essential please choose from the Flowers Delivered UK extensive range of items that are hand delivered next working day by courier.
Payment
Online secure credit and debit card transactions only via our payment gateway service provider. Unless otherwise agreed Cheques/Money Orders etc are not accepted. Unless otherwise agreed (e.g. credit account arrangements) full payment is required before your order can be dispatched.
Credit /Debit Card Security
All transaction information is transmitted in a secure manner and is encrypted by the use of high levels of online security. For detailed information please see Site Security page.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you for two reasons: - 1) to process your order 2) to provide you with the best possible service.
Health and Safety
We do not knowingly use any flowers of a poisonous nature in our bouquets or arrangements. However, we strongly recommend all flowers and plants are kept out of the reach of children and should definitely not be consumed. In order to keep flowers in the peak of condition during transport the stems are immersed in Flower Transport Gel, a non toxic substance, or Aqua Bags to keep them hydrated. A sachet of Flower Food is included with all bouquets. Health and Safety advice for the recipient is enclosed with the documentation envelope. We are not and can not be held responsible for any allergic reactions from foliage, flowers or their pollen. Please be aware that pollen from stamens may stain any material it comes into contact with - especially lilies. All our soft toys are hand made from the finest materials, are surface washable and comply with all European Safety Standards EN71 British Standards. Not all our soft toys are 'Suitable from Birth' - information relating to suitable ages for our featured soft toys is set out on the appropriate product pages. Flowers Delivered UK Ltd cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any consequences resulting from non-compliance with the recommended suitable ages as stated against all our featured soft toy products. All our consumable products may contain nuts or traces of nuts.
Alcohol
It is an offence for any person under 18 years of age to buy or attempt to buy alcohol.
Recipients of alcohol must also be 18 years of age or over.
