Tips on caring for your Flowers Delivered UK Gift.
Congratulations on receiving your beautiful online floral gift. This page has been designed to help you ensure that your precious floral gift remains healthy and fresh for as long as possible.
- Cut Flowers
On receipt of your flowers, unwrap with care.
Add the contents of the complimentary flower food sachet to water in a vase.
Cut the base of the stem and remove any foliage that will be below water level.
Arrange the flowers and place the vase away from direct sunlight, radiators, fruit and draughts.
The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last.
Change the water at least every three days and remove any faded blooms to encourage buds to open.
- Roses
On receipt of your roses, remove the packaging with care.
BOUQUET OF ROSES: Remove 1 inch from the stem with a sharp knife and cut at a
45 degree angle.
Do not use scissors or crush the stem – this prevents the rose from taking up water.
Stand in a deep filled vase filled with water with flower food added.
HAND TIED BOUQUET OF ROSES: Do not untie your flowers, cut stems as above and stand in a vase of water with flower food added. Change water in the vase at least once every
three days. If a rose head flops, cut 1 inch from bottom of the stem end as above and stand the
rose in boiling water for 15 mins or so; this should clear any air locks in the stem. Keep the roses away from
draughts, fruit and radiators. The cooler the room the longer the roses will
last.
- Hand Tied Flower Arrangements
Leave the packaging on if desired, or remove with care but do not untie the flowers. Stand bouquet in a vase containing water with flower
food added as instructed on the packet. Keep flowers in a cool, draught free area, out of direct sunlight and away from fruit.

Most plants can be mist sprayed lightly but not hairy leaved plants.

PLANTED BOWL: Keep in fairly warm room with good light, keep soil moist but do not over-water.
